A crated machine shipped to Germany

A single-piece machine delivered by full truckload from its manufacturer to a customer in Germany.

The need

The machine fitted a standard trailer, but its height and centre of gravity set the terms for loading and lashing. The delivery date also had to suit the buyer's installation team.

What we did

We confirmed the dimensions and lifting points from the manufacturer's drawing and planned the lashing before loading. Customs papers were ready before loading day, and the customer was kept informed through one contact person throughout the journey.
